STATEMENT OF BELIEFS

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule of faith, and practice. Therefore, these declarations of Fundamentals Truths are our basis of Fellowship amongst ourselves.

THE SCRIPTURES INSPIRED
The Bible (Holy Scriptures) is the inspired Word of God, God’s revelation to mankind, infallible rule of faith and conduct and superior to the conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2).

THE ONE TRUE GOD
The only true God has reveled Himself as the eternally self-existent, and self-revealed “I AM”. He has also revealed Himself as having the principles of parenthood and unity; i.e., Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:35; Luke 3:22)

MAN’S FALL AND REDEMPTION
Man was created good and righteous, for God said: “Let Us make man in Our image according to Our Likeness”. But man by his voluntary transgression fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

THE SALVATION OF MAN
The Grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching repentance toward God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the the regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by grace, has become heir to God according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47)

EVIDENCE OF SALVATION
The inward evidence to the believer of his/her salvation is a direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of holiness (1 Thess. 4-7, 2 Timothy 1:9).

BAPTISM IN WATER
The mandate of the Baptism in water by immersion as a burial with Christ, should be observed as is ordered in the Holy Scriptures, by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed on Christ as their Savior and Lord. In so doing they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they have also been released to walk with Him in newness of life (Matt. 28:19, Romans 6:4).

THE LORD’S SUPPER (Communion)
The Lord’s Supper, composed of two elements, unleavened bread and the pure fruit of the vine,  is the symbol expressing our sharing in a memorial to His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming, and is enjoined to all believers “until He comes”(2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:25-26; )

THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER
All believers should ardently expect and earnestly seek the Promise of the Father, which is the baptism in the Holy Spirit. With it comes the infilling of power for life and service, and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31). This experience may be distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the New Birth (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9)

SANCTIFICATION PROCESS
By the power of the Holy Spirit we strive to obey the command “Be ye holy, for I am holy”. Total holiness- Sanctification- is the will of God for all believers and should be  earnestly pursued by obeying the Word of God. (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 John 2:6)

THE CHURCH
The Church is the body of Jesus Christ; every convert born of the Holy Spirit is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the first-borns, whose names are written in Heaven. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Hebrews 12:13)

MINISTRY
We believe in a divinely called and biblically ordained ministry which has been provided by our Lord Jesus Christ, with a double purpose: (1) World Evangelism. (2) For the edification of the body of Christ. (Mark 16: 15-20; Ephesians 4: 11-13)

DIVINE HEALING
Freedom from sickness is provided for the Expiatory Sacrifice and it is the privilege of all believers. (James 5:14-15; Isaiah 53:4-5; Mark 16:17-18; 1 Peter 2:24)

THE BLESSED HOPE
We believe in the imminent coming of Christ to gather His people unto Him. The resurrection of those that slept in Christ and their translation, together with those that live, to meet with the Lord in the air. (1 Thess. 4:16; Rom. 6:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor.15: 51-52)
